Apex Allergy and Asthma offers thorough integrative care for seasonal allergies, asthma, and more at their two offices in San Antonio, Texas. Double board-certified allergist Mark Stahl, DO, and the team at Apex Allergy and Asthma have extensive experience in diagnosing allergies and asthma in adults and children. They also personalize care using innovative, competitively priced treatments.

Dr. Stahl earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. He then completed his pediatric residency training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, from 2003-2005, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, from 2005-2006.

Afterward, Dr. Stahl completed his pediatric and adult allergy/immunology fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio in 2011. He served for 11 years as an active-duty member of the United States Air Force and as academic faculty for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Stahl has also held academic appointments at Wright State University, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Stahl is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. At Apex Allergy and Asthma, Dr. Stahl and his team diagnose and treat allergy-related issues like eczema and angioedema using blood tests, skin patch testing, and other minimally invasive allergy tests. They pinpoint the underlying triggers of food allergies, environmental allergies, and hives so that patients can receive the treatment they need.

Customized allergy treatments include over-the-counter and prescription medications. Dr. Stahl and his team also offer different immunotherapies, including rush and cluster immunotherapy, to give their patients fast, long-lasting relief from allergy symptoms.

The Apex Allergy and Asthma team offers pulmonary function testing on-site to evaluate breathing issues and confirm asthma diagnoses. Dr. Stahl and the team focus their treatment on protecting your respiratory health, and they work closely with each patient to reduce their risk of suffering anaphylaxis and other potentially life-threatening complications of asthma and allergies.
